Sigh. alone-ness is depressing, but friends are cool. Saw Star Trek on friday with Mer and Jen (among others), it was actually pretty good. Very akin to the feel of the old series with fist fights and a cocky Kirk. They did manage to keep enough old school references in there to satisfy the hardcore fans, I think, so I hope they make more. The slash God delivered, because the K/S slash was epic in the best way. I give it 3.5 Vulcan nerve-pinches out of 5.

	Sunday, May 10, 2009 V. sad post. So Mike and I are splitsville. I think it's been a long time coming and the decision was pretty much mutual, but that doesn't make the end of a 3 year relationship any easier. Luckily, I had a super-busy week that provided the needed distraction from the breakup. Nights, on the other hand, coming home to a super-sweet, but very empty apartment, were not so fun. I think eventually we'll be friends, but not for a bit. I'm glad we dated and don't regret staying with him for all this time, but I do wish his last memories of me weren't of a super stressed, pre-tour me who was, I know, very little fun to be around. I hope he remembers Disneyworld, Anime North, cherry blossom watching in high park, cake at Futures (where we broke up, BTW, thereby ruining the place for a while), and all those other moments when it was fun just to be us and to be together. I do have one dilemma, though, and that is how to ask for my black vinyl Monokuro Boo back. I can't find any others and really do want it back, but i don't want to seem like a petty bi-otch.
