Tuesday, November 16, 2010 post-apocalyptic photoshoot Hey all, more adventures of T. here! This shoot resulted because my friends who have mad model/photog. connections were bored. No jokes. We shot this at an abandoned hotel in the 'Shwa.
Posted by T.W // 1:20 PM Wednesday, October 06, 2010 for mom.. so I got a request (guess you can't tell who from...) for pictures of me and my newly acquired hair. I also just happen to have a finished shot from a cyber-punk photoshoot I did with a friend and a graphic artist. SO here are the pictures, one of me looking somewhat normal, the other, decidedly not. (in the second, I was on the rope, upside down and the photographer was lying on the floor) Posted by T.W // 9:05 AM Monday, August 30, 2010 fan expo 2010 Hello all, so in case I didn't already post this, aerial ambition is going to be my official photoblog from now on. ANytime I go to cool events or shows/tours, I'll post the photos here, but there won't be too much introspection going on... So Fan Expo. I'll keep it short and say that I hope next year is better organized, because they sort of dropped the ball on this year's con. I did get my beautiful Mohinder's autograph, though, and found out that he's filming on the set right next door to the circus school, which made me feel cool and stalker-ish all at once. Cosplay-wise, I was impressed. I went as a random steampunk character, and considering I sort of put an outfit together out of stuff I already owned, I think I looked pretty cool. Freya, my dragon shoulder-puppet, made her second public appearance, and was a hit. LOTS of comic costumes, not as many anime cosplays as in the past, but they were definitely still there. Mere's Romona Flowers was a hit (no pun intended, see giant hammer) and we even found a few evil ex's to get photos with. Here are some highlights costume-wise.. Ganondarf from Zelda 64!!! I loooved that game! Venom, obvi. This guy had made the made himself and was super scary what with all those teeth.. Posted by T.W // 7:51 PM Monday, June 21, 2010 student show pics! Yay, I finally got around to updating this poor old blog! Here are some shots from backstage at the Toronto School of Circus Arts student show, which I was in, despite being an instructor for 4-plus years... Posted by T.W // 4:53 PM Saturday, March 27, 2010 Wahhh!! I did it! Mission accomplished, as I'm sure all of you who have Facebook are aware; despite impending deadlines of doom via UofT, circus teaching in the A.M. and an S. bucks shift in the P.M., I managed to see, converse with and have many a picture taken with the awesome, amazing and super-nice Doug Jones!! I told a couple of you how he related the story of his first meeting with Christopher Walken: apparently, Doug was on the set of Batman 2 and Mr. Walken wandered up to meet Danny DeVito while Doug was in costume next to him. He (Doug) was totally star-struck but managed to squeek out his name when he made eye contact with C.W. Christopher Walken, by the way, has uber scary soul-freezing eyes, or so I'm told. To his credit he always remembered Doug's name whenever they saw each other on set. Yay! So here are some more pictures, Mr. Jones was really giving and talkative in person, there was next to no line which was awesome and we chatted for a good 10 min or so. He's not as tall as I thought, but so thin, his hips are waaay smaller than mine! He patted me on the head, at which point my squee runnith over... Anywhoo, easily the highlight of my celeb-spotting thus far, I hope he comes to Expo or something. Labels: Doug Posted by T.W // 9:31 PM Wednesday, March 24, 2010 O.M.G. squaredx10000000 I just saw on the glorious Wizard World site that my uber awesome fave 6'2" former contortionist man-crush Doug Jones is going to be at the con!! In T.O!!! This weekend!!!!!!! Squeeee!I'm super-stoked. To the max, you have no idea. This is the equivalent to Jared and Jenson walking up to me and proceeding to snog ferociously. No jokes. Doug Jones is that big a deal. I'm totally going to mail the con organizers and see if they'll let me perform at the con, and I'm going to shamelessly choose music and costume from Pan's Labyrinth, just to get his attention. I need to think of the perfect question, the perfect outfit...Who should I go as that day?? How can I pick his brain about his awesome and life-altering career in as few words as possible? Arrgh, too much to process But seriously, this makes my con. Maybe, just maybe, I'll get one of his famous uber-hugs, where his super-long arms wrap around and around you and you're engulfed with his coolness... One can hope.
Posted by T.W // 6:54 PM Monday, March 22, 2010 woah. So this crazy cracked-out chick just walked into my s.bucks and, because she refused to buy her a coffee or give her money, poured an entire milk carafe on some poor lady. Dude. That's messed up.Posted by T.W // 3:22 PM Copyrights & Credits Aerial Ambition © Tiffany |
